+ 흔히 포스트-록으로 분류되는 음악에 보컬이 들어가는 걸 별로 좋아하질 않는다. 대부분이 잘 어울리지 않는다는 생각이 많이 들기 때문이다. 그래도 이 앨범은 처음엔 좀 자주 듣기도 했었다. 앨범 끝까지 듣기에는 좀 버거운 감이 있기도 하지만, RYM에서 리스너들의 평점 썩 괜찮다.

+ 프레스에서는 썩 좋은 평가를 받지 못하지만, 리스너들에게는 좀 더 후한 평가(RYM의 Ratin이 생각보다 높다)를 받는 밴드. 처음엔 Bono, Jeff Buckley와의 유사성으로 많이 언급되었었다. 솔로 앨범에 가까웠던 데뷔 앨범 이후 좀 더 밴드다운 사운드를 들려준 앨범. <If Flowers Turn>과 같은 의외의 곡도 있다. 이 앨범 이후 레이블과의 불화 때문인지 6년의 공백 이후 2008년에 [Mercy (Dancing for the Death of An Imaginary Enemy)]를 America에서 발표했다. 메이저 레이블에서 발매해서 그런지 모든 앨범이 수입됐다.

Ours - Murder

Mercy (2008)

Dreamworks와 결별을 하고 American으로 이적하고 낸 첫 앨범이다. 앨범의 프로듀스는 여기저기에 이름을 내밀어 친숙한 Rick Rubin이 맡았다. 메이저 레이블에서 앨범들이 나와서 그런지 여기서도 이들의 수입 앨범을 구할 수가 있다. 데뷔 때부터 (아직까지도) Jimmy Gnecco와 버클리 옹을 많이 비유(외모와 목소리)를 한다. 물론 Gnecco가 소리를 지를 때는 분명히 버클리의 그것이 생각나지만, 외모는 버클리보다 (그 어두침침한 분위기가) "The Crow"에서의 브랜든 리가 먼저 생각이 났다. 음악은 뛰어나다고 말하기에는 좀 모하지만, 그의 목소리는 쉽게 잊혀지지 않는다.
